A car plunged into a deep gorge near Devprayag on the Rishikesh–Gangotri National Highway in Uttarakhand’s Tehri Garhwal district. Soon after receiving information about the accident, the local administration, police, and rescue teams rushed to the spot and initiated relief and rescue operations.
According to preliminary reports, the vehicle reportedly went out of control before falling off the road into the gorge below.
