Amid nationwide protests over the NEET paper leak, the alleged NEET exam scam, and growing demands for transparency in the examination system, the NSUI today organized a massive torchlight procession at Chandigarh’s famous Sukhna Lake. The demonstration was led by NSUI National President Vinod Jakhar and witnessed the participation of a large number of students and youth activists.

During the protest, students strongly voiced their opposition to the alleged paper leak in the NEET examination and the irregularities affecting the examination system. The demonstrators demanded an impartial inquiry and strict action against those found guilty.

“We Will Not Allow the Future of Students to Be Jeopardized” — Vinod Jakhar

Addressing the torchlight procession, NSUI National President Vinod Jakhar stated that a paper leak in a national-level examination like NEET is an injustice to hardworking students and their future. He emphasized that maintaining students’ trust requires the examination system to be made completely transparent and secure.

He further said that students across the country have taken to the streets to raise their voices, and the government must take serious and immediate steps to address the issue.

Humari Baat Editorial: An AI-Based Examination System Is the Need of the Hour to Prevent NEET Paper Leaks

The editorial team at Humari Baat believes that, in light of the recurring incidents of NEET paper leaks, competitive exam fraud, and the growing influence of the so-called “exam mafia,” there is now an urgent need for major technological reforms in India’s traditional examination system.

Humari Baat suggests that examinations such as NEET should, in the future, adopt an AI-Drafted Real-Time Question Paper System, under which unique question papers would be generated individually for each student at the time of the examination through Artificial Intelligence.

Such a system could:

  • Significantly reduce the possibility of paper leaks
  • Help curb the influence of examination mafias
  • Provide students with a fair and secure examination environment
  • Strengthen digital security and transparency

As India rapidly advances toward AI-driven and digital technologies, integrating modern technological solutions into the education and competitive examination systems has become the need of the hour.

Protests Continue Across the Country

Student organizations continue to stage protests in several cities, including Delhi, Patna, Jaipur, Bhopal, Lucknow, and Chandigarh. Students and parents argue that only long-term structural reforms in the examination system — and not merely investigations — can prevent such incidents in the future.
