Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami continues to focus on sustainable development and rural empowerment across the state.
In a significant step toward clean energy, a solar power plant has been established in Malna village of Uttarkashi district, promoting renewable energy and supporting local development. The initiative is expected to contribute to the state’s green energy goals while benefiting residents in remote areas.
The Chief Minister also highlighted the positive impact of Uttarakhand’s tourism policy, which has opened new opportunities for small villages. The policy is encouraging rural tourism, generating employment opportunities, and bringing economic benefits to local communities.
Further strengthening the agriculture sector, CM Dhami inaugurated an agricultural seminar and exhibition at Lohia Head Ground in Pantnagar. The event aims to connect farmers with modern agricultural practices, technology, and innovation, helping improve productivity and farmers’ incomes.
Humari Baat Editorial Viewpoint
Humari Baat believes that tourism is one of the major sources of income in Uttarakhand. However, with the increasing number of tourists, issues such as littering, unclean roads, and pollution at tourist destinations are also rising rapidly.
The Dhami Government should implement a zero-tolerance policy against activities that damage the cleanliness and natural beauty of the state. Uttarakhand is widely known as the “Land of Gods” and is blessed with countless natural and spiritual destinations. Cleanliness and environmental preservation must never be compromised in the pursuit of tourism growth.
The state government, local administrations, and tourists must work together to ensure that Uttarakhand remains clean, environmentally sustainable, and spiritually vibrant for future generations.
These initiatives reflect the Uttarakhand government’s continued commitment to sustainable growth, rural development, tourism, environmental protection, and farmer welfare.
